Kaspersky says expects Russia 2022 sales to rise at least by 40%

MOSCOW, Dec 9 (PRIME) -- Antivirus maker Kaspersky expects its sales to rise by at least 40% in 2022 in Russia, and the trend may continue in 2023, Anna Kulashova, managing director of the company in Russia and the CIS, told PRIME on Friday.

“It is still too early to stake stock, the whole December is ahead, and we traditionally have big plans for this time. But if we speak about the January–November results in Russia, we believe the current results are favorable. We see a significant rise in revenue, we hope we’ll top our aggressive plans and raise sales by 40% and more this year,” Kulashova said.

Popularity of corporate and industrial systems security products has become the main growth driver, and the customers tend to opt for single platforms, she added.

As to 2023, Kulashova said that everything depends on the economic situation in the country and the world, especially in the sphere of small and medium-sized business.

“Nevertheless, we are set to keep on growing since the market is becoming freer and clients need protection,” the executive said.
